The Southern Mallee Transport Connections Partnership (SMTCP) often works closely with small community groups, in order to deliver community transport when required.
The Southern Mallee Transport Connections Partnership (SMTCP) has worked closely with the Quambatook Lalbert Community Bus Committee since 2007, in order to meet the changing transport needs of the Quambatook and Lalbert communities. The SMTCP has provided assistance with community surveys, planning and funding since 2007, and looks forward to continuing a close partnership with the community committee.
The Quambatook Lalbert Community Bus Committee should be congratulated for their ongoing commitment to the two isolated townships of Quambatook and Lalbert, and it has been an absolute pleasure to work closely with this local committee.
The Quambatook Lalbert Community Bus currently travels to Boort, Kerang and Swan Hill. Relevant timetables, bus stops and passenger contribution rates are as follows:
Quambatook to Boort Departs from the Quambatook Post Office at 1.15pm on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. The passenger contribution is $5.00 return.
Quambatook to Kerang Departs from the Quambatook Post Office at 9.00am every Monday. The passenger contribution is $5.00 return. Please note that the bus goes via Lalbert on the first Monday of each month (only if booked).
Quambatook to Swan Hill Departs from the Quambatook Post Office at 9.00am on the 3rd Thursday of each month. The passenger contribution is $6.00. This service goes via Lalbert (only if booked).
