The Southern Mallee Transport Connections Partnership, the Department of Transport, Tyrrell College, and the Sea Lake District Hospital developed a comprehensive transport network for the northern mallee of Victoria in 2007, so that people living in isolated communities could access the outer regional centre of Swan Hill every Thursday for medical and social purposes.
The transport network includes the following bus services:
- a transport link from Woomelang to a hub in Sea Lake (using a school bus),
- a weekly (Thursday) transport link from Nullawil to a hub in Sea Lake (using the Hospital Bus), &
- a weekly (Thursday) bus service between the Sea Lake hub and Swan Hill (using a school bus).

This is a fully integrated timetable, which means that the Woomelang and Nullawil bus services are timetabled to meet up with the Sea Lake to Swan Hill Bus Service every Thursday.
