The Southern Mallee Transport Connections Partnership (SMTCP) and the Wimmera Transport Connections  project (WTCP) worked together in 2007 in order to develop regular transport services between Donald and Horsham.

This partnership was successful, with two weekly bus services funded to travel between Donald and Horsham twice per week, enabling people to access education facilities, specialist shops, services, and health care.   

The bus travels through Minyip, Rupanyup, Murtoa and Dooen on the way to Horsham, and people from these small towns have full passenger access from various bus stop locations.  For more information relating to these bus stops, please telephone V/Line on 136 196 or refer to the 'V/Line Buses & Trains' section of this website.

Timetable

Wednesdays     -    Leaves Donald at 8.05am and arrives in Horsham at 9.30am

                        -    Leaves Horsham at 4.30pm and arrives in Donald at 5.55pm

Thursdays         -    Leaves Donald at 8.45am and arrives in Horsham at 10.10am

                        -    Leaves Horsham at 1.50pm and arrives in Donald at 3.15pm

Fares

Donald to Horsham (one way)     -     $12.00 (non-concession)

                                                -     $ 6.00 (concession)

The Donald to Horsham Bus Service has been very successful, and will ensure that people continue to connect to Horsham well into the future.
