Swan Hill Bus Lines (in partnership with the Department of Transport) provides daily return bus services between Tooleybuc, Piangil, Wood Wood, Nyah, Nyah West, Woorinen South, Tower Hill and Swan Hill. 

A second bus service is also provided on this same route every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, so that people do not have to wait all day for a return service.

This afternoon bus service first began operation some years ago after discussions between the Swan Hill Rural City Council, the Department of Transport and a local bus operator, and all parties should be congratulated on their foresight and commitment to the needs of rural travellers.

The Southern Mallee Transport Connections Partnership (SMTCP) has supported this bus service through:

• advocacy, in order to ensure that the afternoon bus service remains available to the public,
• successfull lobbying for full government subsidization,
• continued marketing (in partnership with the Swan Hill Bus Lines) across the entire service area.
